What does it take to be wealthy? A wealth mindset? Some entrepreneurial genius? Extraordinary leadership skills? I'd say a mix of all of the above. More importantly, I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that:

  • inner wealth creates outer wealth
  • high self-worth results in high net worth, and
  • an extraordinary feeling of inner freedom leads to extraordinary financial freedom.

Here are the 9 quotes that unleased my inner freedom. May you apply these principles each and every day, in tiny baby steps. At the end of a year, your wealth will seem like a miracle.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. - Marianne Williamson

A Return to Love

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. -- Dr. Seuss

In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. -- Buddha

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light. -- Brené Brown

The Gifts of Imperfection

Scanners can’t choose one direction. It’s like telling a parent to choose one child to feed. It’s just not possible. A parent knows she has to feed all her children. And a Scanner must find a way to follow every path that interests her. -- Barbara Sher

Refuse to Choose

Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough. -- Oprah Winfrey

I tried to be normal once. Worst 2 minutes of my life. -- unknown

If you're an introvert, you also know that the bias against quiet can cause deep psychic pain. As a child you might have overheard your parents apologize for your shyness. Or at school you might have been prodded to come "out of your shell" -that noxious expression which fails to appreciate that some animals naturally carry shelter everywhere they go, and some humans are just the same. -- Susan Cain

Quiet: The Power of Introverts

Better to do something imperfectly than to do nothing flawlessly.  -- Robert H. Schuller
