Q: What was your journey with Guide to Grace like?
A: It's an inside out process and you have to trust that. And you have to trust that you might not understand why you're getting something at a certain time but you need to buy in because it will make sense later. You can't have a great and successful business that is successful in the outside world but successful in the inside world unless you know why you're doing it. And that is what I really enjoyed. And getting really deep into why you're doing what you're doing has been quite empowering for me.
Q: What would you say is a tool or exercise that we did that impacted you the most?
A: So many good exercises! The one that really impacted me was archetype work but the branding archetype work and the following day I had a meeting with a woman who is an influencer and a very successful influencer and she wants me to work with her and we had this meeting and I listened but the whole time I instantly knew that this doesn't work and now I have words for why it doesn't work. It doesn't work because it's not who I am. And so, that work gave me clarity and it doesn't necessarily mean, oh well, today I know exactly what I'm, how I'm making this happen. It absolutely gave me power to know what I don't want to do.
We've heard that from many students that it gave them not just wisdom but this discernment, this ability to discern between choice A, choice B, choice L, M, N, O, P. I like L, M, N, O, P, yeah. 39
Q: What did you see or notice that was unique that made you decide to work with us?
A: I love a tribe of women that continues to support each other and it's international and it's fascinating and these are powerhouse women in soft and gentle ways which is also lovely. I didn't know I could learn so much just by watching other people learn. And the fact that I'm gonna get to stay in touch with these people and that it's always a, you know, a Skype call away, or a Whatsapp away and that everyone answers. That's beautiful.
Q: Whether it was the first time or second time we worked together, what was the biggest or what felt like the biggest leap of faith?
A: Well there's been a few I guess. As I was saying goodbye to something that had been such a hug part of my life, I didn't know what I wanted to step fully into so a huge leap is to just trust that you're going to find something when you start walking through the forest, eventually it's gonna make sense. And I'm so glad I did it and I am so grateful I was nudged into it and that I trusted Ella to see that about me.
